She had an umbilical hernia, caused by Brooklyn cleaning her too vigirously as a baby. She had to have surgery at 8 weeks to correct it. She came through the surgery great and went to her new home a few days later. She is doing great in her new home with Greg and Amy...funny thing every picture I see of her she is sleeping? Skylah update Date: Oct 24, 2009 8:51:01 AM PDT Author: sommerloven She did have a rough start. At about 15.5 weeks she also needed eye surgery because her one tacking didn't work. It's all healed up now and looks great! She's a calm, sweet girl, great with kids and she loves meeting new people. Everywhere we bring her people are always telling us how beautiful she is.
